GENERAL TIPS FOR DAMAGE DEALERS :
- Use Potions on cooldowns. The recommended potion for this build gives you instant resources back and increased recovery. This is very handy for long fights. Be sure to have the ‘’Medicinal Use'' passive unlocked from the Alchemy skill line to increase the duration of these effects.
- Always use a Light Attack (or a Heavy Attack if on a Heavy Attack build) after each skill. This doesn't only add extra damage, but it also builds up Ultimate, which means you can use your Ultimate skill more frequently.
- Always use your buff food before going into content. This adds important stats to your character, which will make you a lot more survivable.
BUILD ROTATION :
The rotation for this Build is fairly simple : Use all your Damage Over time skills and then spam Puncturing Sweeps. Reapply DOT's whenever they fall off. Personally I cast Solar Barage first, followed by Stampede and then the rest of my DOT's. Use your execute ability ‘’Radiant Opression'' when the enemy has 40% Health left instead of Puncturing Sweeps, but keep applying your DOT's.
GEAR ALTERNATIVES :
Aegis Caller is very good. It comes with the condition to deal critical martial melee samage, but our Stampede skill is always a critical attack and counts as martial melee damage. Use this in place of Pillar of Nirn if needed. You can also use Whorl of the Depths, preferably on weapons/jewelry, for a huge DOT. If you don't have access to Deadly Strikes, use Order's Wrath in medium, but we would suggest getting Deadly Strikes whenever you can (buy with AP or on Guild Traders), as it is by far the best Templar DPS set and the body pieces are pretty cheap.
