The Dragonknight thrives in the heart of battle burning foes with cleansing flames and withstanding almost any assault. With skills like Molten Lava, Dragon Blood, and Fiery Grip, the Dragonknight allows you to win the war!
The Dragonknight class is a base game class. Dragonknights are extremely diverse with excellent melee abilities and ranged casting abilities.
Draw from the power of the earth and mythical dragons while overpowering enemies with ferocious fire spells. Dragonknights use the ancient Akaviri martial arts and wield fiery magic.
According to the lore book “Mythical Beast, Real Powers” by Drusus Ovicula, those fearless mortals who fought legendary dragons became ‘Dragonknights’. They are said to be able to wrap themselves in flame without being burned and can form a loop of flaming chain to draw a target near. Some are even said to be able to literally breathe fire!

The Dragonknight class has three class skill-lines like every other class in ESO. Below you can find a quick introduction to the Ardent Flame, Draconic Power and Earthen Heart skill-lines.
ARDENT FLAME SKILL LINE
The Ardent Flame skill-line is part of the Dragonknight toolkit and has a focus on offensive abilities. In addition to the powerful skills, you can also select passives that boost your power even further. The Ardent Flame skill-line is the first out of three Dragonknight focused class skill-lines.
